Per me un vero e proprio “Paese delle meraviglie” è il corpo umano ed in particolare il corpo della DONNA, una macchina in cui tutti i meccanismi interni creano una collaborazione perfetta.
Il seno della donna è stato creato per donare accoglienza e nutrimento rappresentato dal latte materno.
Il cuore, fonte di energia vitale (il sangue) è anche un organo molto fragile che si può frantumare come il vetro sotto il peso delle emozioni.
Si dice che lo stomaco sia il nostro secondo cervello: ci sono studi scientifici che affermano che ci siano dei legami neurologici tra questi due organi.
La zona pelvica di una donna è naturalmente il centro della potenza generatrice di nuova vita: l’orchidea simboleggia la sessualità e la sensualità femminile.
Al livello dei polmoni ho rappresentato le mie amate montagne, luogo di pace e dove il respiro si fa più profondo e libero.
Il sedere è da sempre un simbolo erotico sia maschile che femminile sul quale ho dipinto un serpente con una mela, i più ancestrali simboli di tentazione sessuale.
Le braccia rappresentano lo slancio spirituale verso qualcosa di “più ALTO” che riusciremo a raggiungere quando saremo leggeri e puri come farfalle.
Il corpo umano è un vero e proprio grande universo (gambe) ma allo stesso tempo si racchiude tutto in una microscopica molecola di DNA rappresentata sul copricapo.
For me, a real “Land of Wonders” is the human body and in particular the WOMAN’s body, a machine in which the inner mechanisms create a perfect collaboration.
The woman’s breast was created to welcome and nourish a new life represented by the mother’s milk.
The heart, a source of life energy (the blood), is also a very fragile organ that breaks like glass under the weight of emotions.
The stomach is our second brain: there are scientific studies which say that there are neurological links between these two organs.
The woman’s pelvic area is naturally the center of the power to generate new life: the orchid symbolizes female sexuality and sensuality.
At the level of the lungs I represent my beloved mountains, a peaceful place where breath becomes deep and free.
The butt has always been an erotic symbol for both men and women on which I painted a snake with an apple, the most ancestral symbols of sexual temptation.
The arms represent the spiritual impulse towards something “HIGHER” that we will reach when we will be light and pure like butterflies.
The human body is a truly huge universe (legs) but at the same time it is a microscopic DNA molecule represented on the headpiece.
